Delegate of TESC in Brazil
Waverli is a biologist and an environmental educator, with a PhD in Ecology from Sao Paulo University. She was a university professor for 38 years, responsible for designing, implementing and conducting programmes and research at the Methodist University of Sao Paulo, where she founded and directed a Sustainability Centre. From 1993 to 1996 she was accounted for the environmental area in the city of Santo André. Nowadays, her research interest lies in understanding and transforming cultural mindsets, in order to achieve a sustainable and peaceful way of living.
