Alette Willis is Chancellor’s Fellow in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Edinburgh. She has been a researcher at a number of institutions at the University of Ottawa and Carleton University, both in Canada. Storyteller and secretary of the Scottish Storyteller Forum, she was storyteller in residence to the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, and is author of the novel for children How to Make a Golem (and Terrify People) –winner of the Kelpies Prize– and co-author of Dancing with Trees: Eco-Tales from the British Isles.
